This booklet is designed for lower intermediate students of English but is useful for all levels as it highlights common problems Indonesia have with English. There are some additions to and some deletions from the 1st edition but the overall aim is the same.
For many, it is a review of what they know already (or think they know!)
but, in all the units, the writer assumes
students have ‘forgotten’ what they
know or knew.
The booklet is best seen as an
accompaniment to a general English course as it highlights certain aspects of
grammar and vocabulary rather than serving as a fully comprehensive course. The
aim of the booklet remains to help Indonesian students reduce (or eliminate)
certain common errors in English.
